CHICAGO, Ill. – Right-handed starting pitcher Nolan Belschner was tabbed by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) as the first Pitcher of the Week for the 2022 season announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Belschner pitched a complete game in the final contest of a four-game series with Concordia University (Mich.) last Saturday. The junior from Andover, Minn. allowed only four hits and a walk while striking out four batters to pave the way for the Tiger's 3-0 win over the Cardinals.

The Tiger's starting pitcher has now started in four games this season tallying four or more punchouts in each appearance. He has a combined ERA of 4.50 with a .277 opposing batting average in 22.0 innings pitched.
