BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Olivet Nazarene (IL) (18-9, 14-5) secured a decisive 102-66 victory over Judson (IL) (5-13, 2-17) on Wednesday night at McHie Arena. The Tigers broke their program record for made three's in a game with 18, on 54% shooting.
Olivet opened the game with a strong offensive performance, highlighted by shooting 52.9 percent from the field and converting 10 of 19 three-pointers. The Tigers built a 12-point lead by the end of the first half, capped by Keagen Holder's three-pointer with just two seconds remaining. Despite the Eagles' efforts to keep pace, the Tigers maintained control and concluded the first half ahead 53-41.
The Tigers extended their lead in the second half, capitalizing on strong shooting and defensive play to dominate Judson. Andrew Bennett's three-pointer at 19:36, assisted by Eli Edwards, set the tone early. Dylan Fey contributed with consistent scoring, including a layup at 6:23.
