TALLAHASEE, Fla. - The Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country team capped off its season with a strong showing at the NAIA National Championships, finishing 17th overall as a team with 456 points.
Senior Heidi Heldt led the Tigers with an exceptional 6th-place finish, running 21:22.9 and closing out her collegiate career as one of the top runners in the nation. Additionally, by finishing inside the top 40 of all individual finishers, Heldt earns All-America honors.
Junior Isabella Wojciechowski followed in 68th place with a time of 22:30.1, while the rest of her teammates were tightly packed behind her. Taygen Beyer finished 168th in 23:30.0, Hannah Haag placed 170th in 23:31.0, and Claire Carter took 178th with a time of 23:37.9. Violet Montgomery rounded out the group in 219th, clocking 24:04.6.
Their collective effort secured a strong top-20 national finish for the Tigers.
