TIGERS CAPTURE FIRST WINS OF THE SEASON IN COMPETITIVE SERIES AT BETHEL

Bethel, Tn- In game one of a tight three-game series, Olivet Nazarene University earned a convincing 5–0 shutout over Bethel, powered by a dominant complete game from Tyler Snoreck, who scattered seven hits and struck out 11 without allowing a run. After six scoreless innings, the Tigers broke through with a four-run seventh, highlighted by an RBI single from Caleb Kendregan, a run-scoring hit from William Postlewait, and a two-RBI sacrifice from Alex Seaton. Tyler Kavanagh added an insurance run in the eighth on a wild pitch. Kendregan reached base four times and stole two bags, while ONU's defense turned multiple double plays to secure the shutout and first win of the season.

In game two, Olivet Nazarene rallied after an early 3–0 deficit but came up short in a 3–2 loss. Landon Holt put the Tigers on the board with an RBI single in the fourth, and William Postlewait added a sacrifice fly in the fifth to pull ONU within one. Evan Anderson settled in after a tough start, striking out five over five innings, while Camden Kearney tossed a scoreless sixth to keep ONU close. Despite late pressure, the Tigers couldn't push across the tying run in the seventh.

In the series rubber match, Olivet Nazarene edged Bethel 6–5 behind early offense and timely execution. Kydin Horvath jump-started the Tigers with a two-run homer in the second, and Andrew Mack added an RBI single in the third. ONU capitalized on multiple passed balls in the fourth to extend the lead, and Payten Young scored an important insurance run in the seventh. On the mound, Qade Carrington, Luke Shoven, and Bryson Horning combined to hold off a late Bethel surge, securing the series win for the Tigers.
