TIGERS RUN AWAY FROM MOODY BIBLE IN 118-64 WIN

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Olivet Nazarene University defeated Moody Bible with a decisive 118-64 victory on Wednesday at McHie Arena. The Tigers shot an impressive 67.6 percent from the field, including 58.3 percent from beyond the arc in the win.

Olivet established early control, taking the lead with a 3-pointer by Dylan Fey at 17:25, assisted by Eli Edwards. This initiated a dominant stretch where Olivet Nazarene built a 26-point lead by the end of the first half. The Tigers capitalized on strong shooting, converting 20 of 33 field goals and six 3-pointers, while also maintaining a plus-16 rebounding margin. The half concluded with Olivet leading 54–28.

The Tigers extended their lead significantly in the second half, starting with a quick layup by Edwards and a series of successful possessions. Keagen Holder's steal and subsequent layup at 18:14 contributed to maintaining momentum, while Mason Wood's three-pointer at 17:06 further widened the gap. Olivet demonstrated both offensive efficiency and defensive strength, holding Moody Bible to minimal scoring opportunities. The half concluded with Olivet Nazarene ahead, 118-64, securing a decisive victory.

Andrew Bennett led the team with 28 points, converting 11 of 13 from the field, including five 3-pointers, and dished out seven assists. Wood contributed 23 points, making 10 of 11 field goals and three 3-pointers. Fey recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while adding three assists. Holder tallied 16 points and distributed eight assists, converting eight of 10 free throws.

The Tigers return to McHie Arena on Saturday, Dec. 6 to face Saint Xavier (Ill.). Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
