Olivet initiated the game with a strong offensive showing, taking control early with efficient scoring in the paint. Calee Biedron and Jayden Flagg each contributed layups, setting the tone for a dominant first quarter. Lindsey Nell's three-pointer at 6:33, assisted by Ava Mikesell, further extended their lead to 11–2, showcasing their perimeter shooting.
