TIGERBALL EXTENDS THEIR WIN STREAK TO 5 AFTER ROAD WIN IN MILWAUKEE

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — In their first-ever matchup, Olivet Nazarene (IL) (14-5, 10-1) dominated Mount Mary University (7-12, 0-11), 127-40. The Tigers had a season-high 39 offensive rebounds, which led to 37 second-chance points.

Olivet opened the game with a commanding start, quickly establishing a lead with a 3-pointer by Mya Skelton assisted by Lindsey Nell at 9:52. They maintained pressure throughout the quarter, capitalizing on turnovers by the Blue Angels and converting them into points, including a steal and jumper by Brooklyn Marshall at 7:34. The Tigers' bench contributed significantly, adding 7 points, while the team collectively forced 14 turnovers from Mount Mary. By the end of the first quarter, Olivet Nazarene led 34–12.

Olivet extended its lead in the second quarter, highlighted by a strong defensive effort. The team forced 12 turnovers and executed nine steals, creating offensive opportunities. Jayden Flagg ignited the scoring with an early three-pointer assisted by Ava Mikesell at 9:06, setting the tone for the quarter. Marshall contributed by scoring multiple baskets, expanding the advantage. The half ended with the Tigers up 61-21.

Olivet came out of halftime on fire. The Tigers started the second half on a 24-1 run. Skelton and Kalli Papenfuss each sank three-pointers early on, further establishing their control over the game. It was a well balanced third quarter as 12 of the 13 players for the Tigers scored. The quarter ended with the Tigers ahead, 103–26, concluding the game with a decisive victory.

ONU continued their excellence in the fourth quarter, highlighted by a decisive run that included three consecutive 3-pointers from Brookelynn Buzzard and Skelton. Buzzard's shots at 4:36 and 4:17, followed by Skelton's at 1:28, effectively expanded their lead. Marshall also contributed with an And 1 basket. Olivet Nazarene's defensive efforts limited the Blue Angels to 14 points in the quarter, ensuring a strong finish. The game concluded with the Tigers securing a commanding victory, 127-40.

Brookelynn Buzzard scored a career high 17 points, making five 3-pointers. Mikesell recorded six assists and added five steals to her performance. Nell posted 14 points, alongside five assists and three steals. Marshall tallied 15 points while collecting seven rebounds.

Olivet Nazarene improved to 14-5 overall and 10-1 in conference play with the victory. Mount Mary fell to 7-12 on the season and 0-11 in conference competition.
