After falling behind 4–0, the Tigers surged back with a threerun fourth inning highlighted by an RBI single from Landon Holt and a tworun hit from Mason Bogan. Kydin Horvath's solo homer in the sixth and a Troy Vosburgh RBI single in the seventh continued the push, and Andrew Mack tied the game in the ninth with a clutch RBI single.
