BULTHUIS NAMED CCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. – Senior outfielder Jacob Bulthuis was honored by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) as Player of the Week announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Bulthuis becomes the first Tiger this season to win Player of the Week and the third program member to have received a weekly conference distinction in as many weeks.

The Tinley Park, Ill. native averaged better than two hits per game with nine in total in 16 at-bats (.692 average) covering four games last week.  He also provided at least one run batted in each of the contests with six in total.

Bulthuis put up five hits in seven at-bats including one double in a doubleheader sweep of Judson University last Monday.  The second game marked the first of back-to-back three-hit games for him. He also totaled three hits in a 17-1 first-game decision over Trinity Christian College on Friday.

Olivet Nazarene's perfect 4-0 week put the Tigers at 13-14 overall and 6-2 in league play.
