CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's Ethan Underwood claimed his second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week award for the 2022 season as announced by the league office Tuesday.

Underwood gained his sixth win of the season last Wednesday when he went the first six innings of an 11-1 victory over Roosevelt University. The junior hurler struck out six batters against one walk and four hits with the only run he allowed being unearned.  That lowered his earned run average to 1.71 on the season.

Olivet Nazarene won all four of its games last week to put the Tigers at 22-14 overall and 15-2 in conference play, placing them first in the league. The Purple and Gold have now won an NAIA-leading 14 games in a row.
