BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – For the second time this season and seventh time in his career, Olivet Nazarene University kicker Bryce Deguira earned the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest Division Special Teams Player of the Week. The league announced their selections on Monday.
In the 45-38 victory over Saint Xavier, on Saturday, Deguira made all six extra points attempted and made a 44-yard field goal as time expired in the first half. Deguira accounted for nine points on the day. This season has been excellent for Deguira as he has only missed one extra point and has made five of seven fields goals. The senior kicker has accounted for 38 points this season.
