AUSTIN, TX. – On Tuesday, the office of College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the rosters for the 2023 All-Academic Teams. ONU's Nick Kilian has been named to the CSC's NAIA Academic All-America First Team.

This is the German native's second consecutive selection to the coveted first team, a remarkable achievement that underscores his outstanding contributions and dedication both on and off the field. 

Kilian showcased his exceptional skills and leadership throughout the 2023 season, appearing in all 18 matches. His impact was not only felt in his defensive prowess but also in his significant offensive contributions, boasting an impressive tally of six goals, seven assists, and a total of 19 points.

In addition to his recent Academic All-American First Team accolade, Kilian's storied collegiate career is adorned with a plethora of honors. The senior defender was named a 2023 NAIA All-American Third Team selection and clinched the prestigious CCAC Player of the Year title for 2023. Kilian has been a consistent force on the field, earning three consecutive CCAC All-Conference First Team selections. Notably, he holds the title of the all-time program leader in assists, an extraordinary feat with a total of 37 assists to his name.

Beyond the soccer pitch, Kilian's commitment to academic excellence shines brightly. His inclusion in the CoSIDA First Team Academic All-America in 2022, coupled with Honorable Mention First Team Academic All-America in 2021 and a Second Team selection in 2020, attests to his well-rounded achievements as a scholar-athlete.
