THAQI COLLECTS CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Atjon Thaqi has claimed the Week 3 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honor, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
Thaqi garnered the offensive recognition after being instrumental in the Tigers' 2-1 upset of NAIA No. 16-ranked Marian University (Ind.) on Wednesday. The freshman midfielder accounted for both goals, including the game-winner with under nine minutes remaining in the contest.
Olivet Nazarene went 1-1 on the week and is 2-1-1 overall.
