BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The RV Olivet Nazarene University women's soccer program tallied their 10th win of the 2022-23 campaign after a 7-0 win on the road over the Governors State Jaguars Tuesday night. The Tigers saw seven different goal scorers in the victory while Kelsey Bowling, Melea Miller, and Olivia Lorenc each picked up assists along with their goals.
ONU scored three goals in the first half. It took only four minutes for the visitors to score the game-winning goal. Miller tallied her team-leading 12th goal with Lorence providing the assist. Kaylee Evers doubled the lead in the 36th minute for goal number three this fall. The lead was increased 3:25 later as Emma Daniels scored her first collegiate goal as a freshman. Olivet carried the 3-0 lead into the halftime break.

Olivet Nazarene improved to score four additional goals in the second period of play. Lorenc added her name to the scorer's sheet with a goal in the 49th minute. Bowling was credited with the assist. Just under 10 minutes later, Bowling was fed a ball from Miller for the finish to make it a 5-0 game. Abbey Cash and Annabel Murley scored the final two goals in the 74th and 75th minutes respectively as the Tigers improved to 10-4-1 on the season and moved back into first place in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
