KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball is heading back to the NAIA National Tournament. The Tigers earned an automatic bid to the tournament after winning the CCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship, and will compete in the first round on March 13th at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan. ONU, the No. 12 seed in the Cramer Quadrant, will take on No. 5 seed Mid-America Christian University in the first round.

ONU enters the national tournament with a 25-6 overall record, marking the program's 16th appearance in the tournament. Mid-America Christian (25-6) received an automatic bid after winning the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament and is making its sixth consecutive national tournament appearance. 

The Tigers and Evangels will be meeting for the first time in program history.

The winner of Friday's game will advance to the second round to face the winner of No. 4 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and No. 13 Saint Mary (Kan). The second-round matchup will take place on March 14th in Olathe, Kan.
