WEEK 3 PREVIEW: HOME MATCHUP AGAINST SIENA HEIGHTS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – After nearly knocking off the No. 5 team in the NAIA on the road last weekend, the Olivet Nazarene University football team will return to Ward Field to host Siena Heights Saturday afternoon for a noon kickoff.

THE GAME
These two teams have faced off in three of the last four seasons, with the Tigers holding a 2-1 advantage in those bouts. ONU most recently defeated the Saints 20-14 in overtime at O'Laughlin Stadium last season on Sept. 14.

Siena Heights has gotten out to a .500 start through two games this season. They opened the year with a nail-biting 21-20 defeat at Saint Francis (Ind.) before bouncing back at home in a 24-21 victory over St. Francis (Ill.).

FINAL MATCHUP
This will be the final matchup between these two historic football programs, as Siena Heights University has announced that it will close its doors at the end of the 2025-26 academic year.

FOOTBALL WEATHER
Temperatures for Saturday's game call for a high of 83 degrees with a 0% chance of precipitation and wind gusts up to 15 miles per hour. The temperature around kickoff will be approximately 79 degrees.

MSFA MIDWEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Christian Dhue-Reid was named the MSFA Offensive Player of the Week after a big performance last week. The senior quarterback was red-hot in the team's near-upset over No. 5-ranked Indiana Wesleyan Saturday, throwing for 277 yards and three touchdowns in the 28-27 loss. Dhue-Reid also rushed the ball 10 times for 55 yards and a score. This marks the first-career MSFA Player of the Week award for the Detroit, Mich., native.

TICKETS
Fans can purchase tickets online at the ONU Ticketing Site. Online adult tickets will cost $10, children & seniors will be $7. Tickets will also be available to purchase with cash at the gate at an increased rate of $12 for adults and $8 for children and seniors.
