LINARES NAMED CCAC WOMEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Helen Linares has been tabbed as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Linares claimed CCAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition by gaining the win in goal in a 4-1 victory over Huntington University (Ind.) on Saturday. The junior collected three saves, while yielding the one goal in the decision.
The win moved ONU to 2-0-1 on the year.
