The Tigers are set to compete at nationals this week, bringing a talented roster capable of scoring across multiple events. Both the men's and women's teams have athletes ready to make an impact in sprints, middle-distance races, relays, and field events.
On the women's side, Carsyn Burdine will compete in the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m relay, while Teleyah Covington joins her in the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m relay. Olivia Lentz will take on the 600m and contribute to the 4x400m relay, and Kristen Garth will also run in the 4x400m relay. The DMR squad features Angel Ward, Laurel Munson, and Heidi Heldt, who will also compete in the 1,000m and mile, with Taygen Beyer joining in the 1,000m. Amanda Gustafson rounds out the women's roster in the shot put, giving the Tigers depth in the field events.
The men's team also brings a balanced and versatile lineup. Joey Puccillo, David Olmos, Flynn Prather, and Eric White will compete in the DMR, with Olmos and Prather also taking on the mile and 1,000m, respectively. The 4x400m relay features Quinton Long, Noah Mack, Darrin Dussett, and Alex Johnson, with Mack also competing in the 200m. Marcus Robinson will represent the Tigers in the shot put and weight throw.
