DUPUIS COLLECTS CSC SECOND TEAM ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA HONORS

AUSTIN, TexasJack Dupuis was named to the prestigious 2024 Academic All-America Baseball Team, as voted on by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Dupuis was one of just 12 student-athletes named to the second team and was one of 24 total student-athletes to be selected to an Academic All-America team.

The CSC Academic All-America Team is comprised of student-athletes from NAIA institutions, who are selected based on their work athletically and in the classroom. Nominees must be starters or important reserves, sophomores or older, with at least 3.50 cumulative grade point averages.

Dupuis, from Wheaton, Ill., earned his second consecutive second team all-CCAC selection this season after leading the conference in three separate offensive categories with his 85 hits, .445 batting average, and .539 on-base percentage this season. Dupuis also ranked third in the league in stolen bases and was 10th in slugging percentage at .576.

The junior third baseman wrapped out 16 extra base hits on the year, including 11 doubles and four home runs. Dupuis etched his name into the ONU single-season record books with top-five marks in batting average, runs scored (67), and hits. He is majoring in Accounting at Olivet Nazarene University.

Dupuis becomes the fifth Tiger to be named a CSC Academic All-American this school year, joining Nick Kilian (men's soccer), Halle Briner (women's swimming & diving), Mason Beall (men's swimming & diving), and Jack Fries (men's swimming & diving).
