SEATON EARNS SECOND CCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University sophomore Alex Seaton (Delavan, Ill.) delivered a standout performance at the plate during the seven-day stretch ending April 12, fueling a five-win week for the Tigers and earning Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.

Seaton batted .348 while driving in eight runs as the Tigers swept a doubleheader against Trinity Christian and captured three of four games from Saint Xavier University. He scored at least one run in all six games and produced three multi-RBI performances during the week.

The infielder collected two RBIs in each victory over Trinity Christian on Tuesday before opening the Saint Xavier series by going 3-for-6 in a 14–9 win on Friday. Seaton added two-hit efforts in the second games on both Friday and Saturday, highlighted by a three-RBI showing in Saturday's contest.

Olivet finished the week 5–1, moving within one game of first place in the CCAC standings. The Tigers improved to 19–9 in conference play and 23–19 overall, with Seaton's consistent production playing a key role in their surge.
