CHICAGO, Ill. - Following two career-best outings, Olivet Nazarene University senior guard, Andrew Bennett, has been recognized as the CCAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.

Over the course of two wins last week, Bennett averaged 28.5 points on 19-of-27 shooting from the field, 11-of-17 from three-point range, and 8-of-8 at the free throw line. Bennett also averaged 6.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds last week for the Tigers.

Bennett's week began by setting a new career-high of 28 points in a 118-64 victory against Moody Bible Institute last Wednesday. Bennett was 11-of-13 from the field, 5-of-7 from three, and made his only free-throw attempt. He also added seven assists and four rebounds in the contest.

On Saturday, Bennett led the Tigers to a conference win over Saint Xavier by setting a new career-high for himself at 29 points. He was 8-of-14 from the field in the win and a scorching 6-of-10 from deep. Additionally, Bennett was able to get to the line where he converted all seven of his free-throw attempts. With the win on Saturday, Bennett and the Tigers improved to 4-0 in CCAC play and 7-2 overall.
