EDWARDS EARNS THIRD TEAM NAIA ALL-AMERICA RECOGNITION

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Eli Edwards added another milestone to an exceptional season and career by being selected as a Third Team NAIA All-American, becoming the 12th player in program history to earn All-America honors. Edwards was one of just 17 athletes named to the Third Team, with 41 total players honored across all teams, and marked the program's first All-American selection since Tyler Schmidt in 2024. His national recognition capped a dominant year in which he was named the CCAC Player of the Year, earned First Team All-CCAC honors, and was selected to the NABC NAIA All-Region (North) Team.

Edwards' impact was felt across every major statistical category, ranking eighth nationally in scoring (22.6 points per game), 19th in minutes per game (35.1), 35th in offensive rebounds per game (2.9), and 39th in total rebounds per game (8.3). He also finished the season shooting .598 from the field and recorded 13 double-doubles on the year. Highlighting his consistent dominance throughout the season, Edwards was named CCAC Offensive Player of the Week six times.

Edwards concluded his ONU career with 1,164 points, ranking 38th all-time in program history for points scored. He also finished seventh in program history with 62 blocks.

The All-America selection for Edwards stands as a testament to one of the most complete and decorated seasons by a post player in program history.
