SILVIS, Ill. – After playing in the NAIA National Championship a season ago, the Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team got to play at the site of the 2025 National Tournament at the NAIA National Preview, played at TPC Deere Run Monday and Tuesday.

Jack Busch led the Tigers. He opened with a 78 Monday before carding an 80 Tuesday. His 158 was good for a tie for 53rd. Jack Rimington ended just a single shot behind his teammate. Rimington also opened with a 78, followed up by an 81 to shoot a 159 and end in a tie for 59th place.

Luke Martin shot an 81 and an 83 for a 164. After firing an 83 on Monday, Chris Brown took a stroke off his second round at 82 to finish at 165. Joseph Luchtenburg rounded out the tournament for ONU at 169 (82-87).

ONU put together rounds of 319 and 326 for a 365, good for 17th at the 24-team tournament. Mount Mercy claimed the team tiel with a 14-over 582.

The Tigers will next compete on their home turf when they host a tournament at Cinder Ridge in Wilmington, Ill., Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
