CHICAGO, Ill. – A school record from Olivet Nazarene University's Joseph Randolph has earned him THE Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's outdoor track weekly honors. The league office made the announcement on Tuesday morning.
Randolph hit the NAIA "B" standard in each of the two events he competed in to pick up CCAC Track Athlete of the Week accolades. His record-setting performance came in the 100-meter dash, where he ran a time of 10.44 seconds to finish first among 44 competitors at ONU's own Outdoor Open on Saturday.
That same day, the sophomore ran a 21.12-second time in the 200-meter dash at the Elmhurst University Twilight to also claim that event, out-running 61 other challengers.
