THREE TIGERS EARN SECOND TEAM ALL-CCAC HONORS

CHICAGO, Ill. - Three members of the Olivet Nazarene University men's volleyball program were recognized by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) for their standout seasons as Cameron Johnston, Cade Ooms, and Nic VanOort each earned Second Team All‑Conference honors following the 2025–26 campaign.

The trio played pivotal roles in ONU's success throughout the season, helping the Tigers to a 16–14 overall record and a 9–6 mark in conference play. Their consistent production across the front row anchored the offense and provided stability in key moments against conference competition.

Junior outside hitter Cade Ooms put together one of the most productive seasons on the team, leading ONU in kills with 305 and averaging 3.02 kills per set across 101 sets played. Ooms carried a significant offensive load, recording 769 total attacks while maintaining a solid .220 hitting percentage. Beyond his attacking numbers, Ooms finished the season with 197 digs (1.95 per set) and 33 total blocks, showing his reliability in both serve receive and defensive situations. His all‑around impact also resulted in 346.5 total points, the highest mark on the roster.

Nic VanOort emerged as another key offensive weapon for the Tigers, posting 251 kills while averaging 2.41 kills per set over 104 sets. VanOort also made his presence felt defensively, tallying 157 digs and 35 total blocks, ranking among the team leaders at the net. He finished the season with 292 total points, good for second on the team.

Rounding out the trio is Cameron Johnston, who provided steady production in all six rotations throughout the season. Johnston recorded 236 kills at 2.25 kills per set while hitting .176 on 629 total attempts, a dependable efficiency rate given his volume of swings. On the defensive side, Johnston contributed 79 digs and 27 total blocks, adding physicality at the net and reliability in transition play. He closed the season with 272 total points.
