BROOKLYN MARSHALL SECURES CCAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Brooklyn Marshall has earned the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending Dec. 1, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Marshall gained the CCAC Defensive Player of the Week nod by recording a season-high five steals in Olivet Nazarene's 107-65 victory against St. Ambrose University last Monday. The junior forward's other numbers included nine rebounds, one block, one assists and three points.
The game was the only one last week for the Tigers, who are 4-4 overall and 2-0 in CCAC play.
