SEASON COMES TO AN END IN CCAC CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 4-0 defeat to Holy Cross in the championship match of the CCAC Tournament Friday afternoon.
The Tigers dropped the doubles point. The top team of Natasha Nieto and Rafeala Luna was competitive at the No. 1 match, but the Saints rolled to 6-1 and 6-0 wins in the bottom two contests to take the point from ONU.
ONU could not get much going in the singles matches, with Holy Cross quickly picking up the three necessary wins to end the match and the Tigers' season.
The Purple & Yellow Gold end the season 8-6 overall.
