CHICAGO, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's tennis team concluded a memorable season by having three players garner recognition from the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC), as the league office announced its postseason awards Wednesday.
Natasha Nieto and Chieh-Yu Chen made up one-third of the CCAC's six-member singles team, while the former teamed up with Rafaela Luna to be selected as one of three all-conference doubles pairings.
A three-time CCAC Player of the Week honoree, Nieto earned her first distinction from the conference after leading ONU to the championship match of the 2025 CCAC Tournament. The senior from Caracas, Venezuela, dominated at the top of the lineup for the Tigers, putting up a 10-4 record in top singles matches this season.
Nieto was paired with Luna in 13 of ONU's 14 matches this year, with the duo posting a stellar 9-4 record in doubles matches. This is the first all-CCAC honor for Luna, a sophomore from Lima, Peru.
Chen was a staple at the No. 2 position for the Purple & Yellow Gold. The senior from New Taipei City, Taiwan, earned her first all-conference selection after posting a solid 7-7 singles record, including a 2-2 record against CCAC competition.
ONU finished the season with a winning record at 8-6 overall.
