BURDINE HONORED AS CCAC WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. – A first-place finish by Olivet Nazarene University's Carsyn Burdine has earned her the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's outdoor track athlete of the week honors, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.

Burdine used a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash at ONU's own Tiger Open on Saturday to net CCAC Track Athlete of the Week honors.  Her NAIA "B" standard time of 24.44 seconds out-paced 27 other challengers.

The junior also captured runner-up accord as part of Olivet's 4x100-meter relay team, which registered a time of 47.59 seconds.
