CHICAGO, Ill. — For the second time this season, Olivet Nazarene University swept the CCAC Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors, earning the Week 4 recognition for their performances ending Feb. 8.
On the women's side, senior Heidi Heldt earned her third Track Athlete of the Week award after winning both the 800m and mile at ONU's Walter Cramer Invitational. She ran an NAIA "A" time of 2:15.44 in the 800m (8th nationally) and posted another "A" mark of 4:55.11 in the mile (3rd nationally).
Amanda Gustafson claimed the Field Athlete of the Week honor by winning the shot put with a throw of 14.0m (4th in the NAIA) and taking second in the weight throw at 15.53m. This was the junior's second weekly honor this season.
For the men, Marcus Robinson earned his third CCAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor of the season by capturing the weight throw title at the Walter Cramer Invitational on Friday with a winning toss of 17.78 meters. The sophomore also reached the "B" standard in the shot put, finishing second with a throw of 16.12 meters.
Noah Mack won the 200-meter dash at the same meet, topping a field of 45 runners with a time of 21.94 seconds. The senior also placed fifth in the 400 meters, clocking 51.61 seconds.
