MONNEY-HORI EARNS NAIA ATTACKER OF OF THE WEEK HONORS
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Olivet Nazarene University senior outside hitter, Naomi Monney-Hori, has been selected as the NAIA Attacker of the Week following two dominant performances against IU Northwest and IU South Bend.
Monney-Hori averaged 6.14 kills per set, totaling 43 kills across the two matches to lead the Tigers to a pair of wins. She leads the conference in kills per set (3.27), and nearly doubled her season average with her standout offensive play.
She had an impressive .327 hitting percentage against IU Northwest and followed with a .486 mark versus IU South Bend, adding an ace in each match to round out a stellar week.
Monney-Hori and the Tigers will look to carry their momentum into the final stretch of the regular season as they continue CCAC play on Tuesday, Nov. 4 against Governors State in McHie Arena.
